Rinku Singh, the 25-year-old batter from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), has been making headlines with his explosive batting in IPL 2023. He hit five sixes in the last over to secure a stunning victory for his team against Gujarat Titans (GT) recently. However, for former BCCI Selector and commentator Sarandeep Singh, it is not just about those five sixes. He revealed that he has been a fan of Rinku Singh for quite some time now, even before his IPL heroics.

“I’m his big fan, not because he hit those five sixes, but because I’ve been following him from domestic cricket and I’m very impressed with him,” Sarandeep said while commentating on Jio Cinema.

Rinku Singh has an impressive domestic record, with an above-50 average in First Class and List A cricket. Sarandeep Singh believes that Rinku has the talent to play for the Indian Cricket Team and has to continue performing well in the IPL to make his dream come true.

He also emphasized the importance of dealing with failures, saying that it will be crucial for Rinku Singh to pick himself up after a fall. Rinku Singh will have another chance to showcase his skills when KKR faces off against Chennai Super Kings on April 23.
