Roy reflects on KKR's underwhelming start to the tournament and says, "We got to draw a line in the sand".

Jason Roy, Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) star opener, has spoken out about the team’s lackluster performance in IPL 2023, stating that they need to approach the second half of the season with a fresh mindset. Currently ranked eighth on the points table with two wins in seven matches, the team has not had the best start to the tournament. But Roy, who was brought in as a replacement for Shakib Al Hasan, has been a bright spot, scoring 102 runs in two matches despite the four consecutive losses.

He stated that it is easy to lose confidence in short-format cricket and urged the team to keep pushing and enjoying themselves, keeping their methods consistent.
