1000th match of IPL history, Wankhede Stadium, and Rohit Sharma’s birthday. On such a wonderful occasion, the Wankhede Stadium was completely packed expecting a super show by Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma.
Before Rohit’s fire could be seen, Rajasthan Royals’ young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal celebrated Rohit’s birthday and 1000th IPL match by setting off fireworks. The young batsman created panic by hitting the first century of his IPL career.
He hit 13 fours and six sixes to get to the mark. Jaiswal also became the third batter in IPL 2023 to score a hundred. Yashasvi Jaiswal is the 4th youngest IPL centurion after Pandey, Pant and Padikkal.
