    On Saturday (April 1), at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will face off against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the second match of the Indian Premier League 2023.

    IPL 2023 PBKS vs KKR: Updated Points Table Before Today's Match

    PBKS, who had finished sixth in the last edition with seven victories out of 14 games will be led by their new skipper, Shikhar Dhawan, who is the 14th captain for the team since the inaugural season of IPL in 2008.

    KKR, on the other hand, finished seventh in the previous season with six victories out of 14 games. However, their skipper Shreyas Iyer has been ruled out for the initial matches of the season, and Nitish Rana will captain the team temporarily.

    • The upcoming edition of IPL will have two groups: Group A and Group B.
    • Group A will consist of Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants.
    • Group B will consist of Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans.
    • In total, there will be 14 matches for each of the 10 teams, consisting of seven home and seven away games. The teams will face the five teams from the opposing group two times each, while they will play against the other four teams from their own group only once.
    • Once the league stage is over, the playoffs will feature the top 4 teams.
    • The standings will be updated daily based upon the conclusion of every game.
