Rishabh Pant was unfortunately involved in a car accident which has ruled him out of IPL 2023 and the cricketing action for about six to seven months more. There is a huge doubt about him playing the 2023 World Cup as well. However, there might be a chance that you can see Rishabh Pant at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi for the matches of Delhi Capitals in IPL 2023.

Ricky Ponting, one of the members of Delhi Capitals team management, has stated that he would love to have Rishabh Pant in the dugout during the matches of Delhi Capitals in IPL 2023. He has said that he will ask about the same from Pant, and if he gets his nod, then the latter could be seen in attendance at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Recently, Rishabh Pant shared a photo on his social media in which he can been seen trying to walk. He is healing day by day and will soon return to Indian team in future. Delhi Capitals has announced that David Warner will captain the team in the absence of Rishabh Pant in IPL 2023. However, who will bat in the middle order instead of Pant is still a question that needs to be answered. Axar Patel can be a good candidate for the same. He has been announced as the vice captain of the team.
