In response, GT’s opening duo of Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill were dismissed cheaply for just 14 runs each by pacer Anrich Nortje. However, Sai Sudharsan (62*), Vijay Shankar (29), and David Miller (31*) contributed crucially with the bat to guide GT to a comfortable 6-wicket victory in the end.
