Rajasthan Royals have so many openers in their squad that they are often confused about whom to open the innings with. The team has the destructive Jos Buttler, the very talented youngsters – Yashasvi Jaiswal and Devdutt Padikkal, and the captain – Sanju Samson who could open the innings for Rajasthan Royals.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Devdutt Padikkal have been tried as openers for RR in IPL 2022, but both of them could not replicate the same success as Jos Buttler.

The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League will be starting from March 31 and the last league match will be played on May 21. Defending Champions Gujarat Titans will be facing Chennai Super Kings in the opening encounter. This time, the tournament will have a total of 74 matches.
