A total number of 74 matches are going to be played amongst the ten teams in this year’s edition of IPL. IPL 2023 Schedule, Date, Timings, Matches and Teams

IPL 2023 is scheduled to be played in March, April and May 2023. The exact date of the tournament inauguration will be announced by BCCI in the upcoming few days. It has been confirmed that 74 matches will be played amongst the ten teams in this edition of the Indian Premier League 2023. There will be a lot of two headers in IPL 2023, and the day matches will start at 3:30 PM while the night matches will begin at 7:30 PM.

Gujarat Titans won the cup last year, while Rajasthan Royals were the runner-up. The team led by Hardik Pandya will defend its title against the 9 teams, including Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants.

The media rights for IPL 2023 are bought by Star Sports Network and Viacom18. The TV rights of IPL are with Star Sports Network, while the digital rights are with Viacom18. One can live stream the IPL 2023 on Star Sports 1 and 2 on TV. On the other hand, JioCinema, the digital streaming platform owned by Viacom18, is going to broadcast the live matches of IPL 2023 for free in 11 languages.
