While he currently has no plans to pursue a career in politics, he did not rule out the possibility of doing so in the future if it is “written in his destiny.”

The 37-year-old player, who has been the subject of rumors about his political ambitions, clarified that he has not spoken to anyone about his plans to join politics. He added that success is certain for him in any field he chooses, as he has been working hard since he was 11 years old.

He confessed that if he were a selector, he would have also chosen Gill over himself, as the young opener has showcased remarkable performances and secured his position as a reliable opener in the team.
