The fourth game of IPL 2023 will witness a clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals.

Last season, Sunrisers Hyderabad finished in the 8th place in the points table and released several big names, including former skipper Kane Williamson. During the mini-auction last year, they made a total of 13 signings. Aiden Markram, who had a successful stint with the sister franchise Sunrisers Eastern Cape in SA20, was appointed as the new captain. However, Sunrisers will miss their Proteas contingent, including the skipper, in this game as they are playing against the Netherlands in the ODI series, which will determine their qualification for the ODI World Cup this year.
Last season, Rajasthan Royals had a great run and ended up as the runner-up, displaying an impressive performance with both bat and ball. Jos Buttler won the orange cap, and Yuzvendra Chahal clinched the purple cap. The Royals have retained most of their squad and have only plugged the gaps from the last season. During the mini-auction, they acquired Jason Holder at a price of INR 5.75 crores. Holder’s versatility as a finisher and a bowler will come in handy for the team. Other than his inclusion, the playing 11 is expected to remain unchanged from last year’s lineup.
