The Royal Challengers Bangalore openers – Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis have been single handedly carrying the team in IPL 2023.
RCB captain Du Plessis has blasted 422 runs in eight matches, at an average of 60.29 and 167.46 strike rate including 5 half-centuries. Whereas, on the other hand, Kohli has registered 333 runs in eight matches, at an average of 47.57 and 142.30 strike rate including the same number of fifties.
On Match 24 (Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore), fans were given a special treat when Kohli and Du Plessis walked out for a short training session ahead of the game. Fans were quick to spot that Kohli was copying Du Plessis’ batting stance in a funny manner.
