    Test cricket is the oldest format, while T20 cricket came after ODI. Apart from T20Is, many T20 leagues are played around the world including the IPL. At present, the matches of IPL 2023 are going on, but do you know what is the cost of the balls used in the IPL? Actually, different balls are used in different formats of cricket. Red ball is used in test format whereas white ball is generally used in T20 format apart from ODIs.

    But do you know the cost of these balls? Actually, apart from ODIs, white ball is used in T20Is and IPL matches. Apart from Kookaburra, the SG company is the most popular amongst the ball makers. Apart from IPL, all the balls used in international matches are waterproof, that is, water does not affect these balls. Apart from ODIs, the white ball used in T20Is and IPL matches costs around Rs 12,000.

    However, according to the sports site thesportsrush, the cost of balls of different companies varies. For example, the cost of Kookaburra company’s ball is around 12 thousand rupees. Apart from this, the price of white ball of SG company is Rs.4000. These are made of pure leather, due to this water cannot enter inside these balls. Let us tell that the balls of Kookaburra and SG company are made in Meerut and Jalandhar in India.
