The IPL 2024 Auction is going to be held on 19 December 2023 in Dubai. Chennai Super Kings have announced that they tried to find a replacement for Ambati Rayudu in the trade window but could not do so.
Rayudu decided to retire after the conclusion of IPL 2023, and the Chennai Super Kings now require a finisher who can do the job for them. There are some interesting prospects for that in the IPL 2024 Auction.
Who Could Replace Ambati Rayudu in CSK?
Daryl Mitchell is one of the first names that come to mind when we talk about replacing Ambati Rayudu in the CSK squad. Mitchell has significantly improved his game in the last couple of years, and he showed that in the recently concluded World Cup. He is definitely going to be targeted by CSK in the auction.
