IPL 2024 Auction Player Registration Last Date Today: Starc, Head Register Their Names

Starc has expressed his desire to participate in the upcoming IPL edition as part of his preparation for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 in the USA and the West Indies.

November 30 (Thursday) marks the deadline for player registrations for the IPL 2024 auction. Interested players must submit their No Objection Certificates (NOCs) through their respective cricket boards by this date to be eligible for the auction scheduled for December 19 in Dubai.

Renowned Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc is anticipated to be a highly sought-after player at the auction. Starc has expressed his desire to participate in the upcoming IPL edition as part of his preparation for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the USA and the West Indies.

Besides Starc, other potential stars at the auction (if they register) include Travis Head, Daryl Mitchell, Australia’s Test and ODI captain Pat Cummins, and emerging talent Rachin Ravindra, among others.

Travis Head had emphasized his interest in playing in the IPL ahead of Australia’s World Cup 2023 semifinal against South Africa, stating, “I will put myself in this year and hopefully get picked up and get an opportunity.”

Mitchell Starc, who expressed his intention to make a comeback to the IPL in September, highlighted the IPL as a great lead-up to the T20 World Cup. He stated, “It’s a perfect opportunity to put my name in” and explore interest in the IPL before heading into the T20 World Cup.
