Yashasvi held the cap for only a few hours. He has now dropped to third place in the list of highest run-scorers. He has scored 523 runs in 13 matches. Mumbai Indians’ Suryakumar Yadav is in fourth place with 510 runs from 12 matches. Royal Challengers Bangalore’s star batsman Virat Kohli is fifth with 505 runs in 11 matches.

Meanwhile, Gujarat captain Shubman Gill has moved up to second place. He has scored 601 runs in 12 matches. Gill played an unbeaten 93 off 53 balls against Delhi Capitals, hitting 3 fours and 7 sixes. Delhi’s century-maker KL Rahul (112* off 65 balls) has slipped to seventh place, scoring 493 runs in 11 matches.
