    Sam Curran, Cameron Green and Ben Stokes are the three most expensive players in the history of IPL auction. Sam Curran was sold for a massive Rs 18.25 Crore to Punjab Kings, while Cameron Green was bought by Mumbai Indians for a huge Rs 17.5 Crore and Ben Stokes was picked by Chennai Super Kings in the IPL Auction 2023 for Rs 16.25 Crore.

    Chennai Super Kings bought Ben Stokes for a monumental Rs 16.25 Crore. Three teams went after Stokes in the auction. Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals fought with Chennai Super Kings to acquire Ben Stokes in the auction. However, CSK managed to grab him at the last moment with a massive bid of Rs 16.25 Crore.
