Virat Kohli is among the only few cricketers who have played in all 15 seasons of the IPL. He has been associated with the Royal Challengers Bangalore since the inaugural edition of the IPL and is one of the biggest icons of the tournament.

Virat Kohli’s best IPL season came in the year 2016 when he amassed 973 runs in the tournament including 4 centuries. However, since then, Virat Kohli has failed to replicate the same performance. He’s managed two 400+ seasons and one 300+ season. But this season could be Virat Kohli’s best IPL season ever.

Reasons Why IPL 2023 Could Be Virat Kohli’s Best Season Ever

Last year in the IPL, he averaged 22 and struck only 115 runs, but this year is different. After IPL 2022, Virat Kohli has ended his 71st-century drought and has hit a total of 5 centuries till then. Now, Virat Kohli will come into the IPL 2023 with a burden-free mind, having removed the saddle of the questions around his international run.

Moreover, in IPL 2023, Virat Kohli will be back to playing at RCB’s home ground: M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The tiny size of the Chinnaswamy Stadium and its flat batting-friendly surfaces will make the venue a batsman’s paradise. Virat Kohli will be itching to have a go at this stadium in the IPL 2023.
