Rahul Dravid, the former head coach of India’s World Cup-winning team, recently made a statement about the growing discussion about a possible biopic on his life. At an awards ceremony, he was asked who he would like to see playing his character in the film. So his answer also came. Rahul Dravid gave such an answer about the film to be made on his life, which no one would have thought of. Actually Dravid himself talked about playing the character as a hero in this film. He said that perhaps you will not find a better hero than me.

He said in fun that perhaps I can be the best candidate for the role. He said that if the money is good, then I will play this role. It is worth noting that last year, when the Indian team reached the ODI World Cup final, Katrina Kaif had said that a film should be made on Dravid’s life. The Indian team made it to the final of the ODI World Cup under Dravid’s coaching but could not win.

After a few months, Team India made it to the final of the T20 World Cup and defeated South Africa in a thrilling match to win the trophy. The pair of Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid together gave India a win in an ICC event after a decade. Dravid himself was very happy at that time and the players of Team India cried. Dravid himself was not a part of any World Cup winning team but gave the title to the team in coaching. After coaching the Indian team, Dravid is not doing any work at the moment but soon he can be seen with any IPL team.

In the same West Indies where he was eliminated in the first round of the 2007 ODI World Cup as a captain, he won the T20 World Cup as a coach.

Dravid jokingly hinted at making his Bollywood debut during an award ceremony. He said that if he gets a good amount, he can play his own character in his biopic. He said this in response to a question. The former coach was asked, “Who will play the role of Rahul Dravid in a biopic?” To this, Dravid replied with a big smile, “‘If the money is good enough, I will play this role.'”

During this time, Dravid won the T20 World Cup He detailed the team’s journey to the success of the World Cup. He said, “Honestly I did not want to do anything different. We had performed brilliantly in the ODI World Cup. There was a consensus among the team that we have to create the same energy, vibe and team atmosphere that we had before and then just hope for a little luck.”

Dravid said his heart out and also talked about his unique experience of participating in the World Cup campaign in India as a coach rather than a player. He talked about the enthusiasm of the fans across the country. The former coach said, “It was amazing to travel across this country and experience the joy of the fans. It was incredible to see what this game means to the people of this country.” Dravid’s funny comment about Bollywood debut won the hearts of the fans.
