The Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah is fighting with a serious back injury due to which he missed the T20 World Cup 2022, India vs Australia Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 and is going to miss the IPL 2023. India’s star bowler was earlier added to India’s squad against Sri Lanka in 2023 but was again ruled out due to the persisting effects of back injury.

Board of Cricket Council of India sent Bumrah to New Zealand to the hospital where Kiwi pacer Shane Bond was treated in the past. It was reported that Bumrah has undergone a successful surgery and he will make a comeback to Indian cricket pretty soon.
