On October 14th, India and Pakistan will face off at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad as part of the ICC World Cup 2023, generating immense excitement among cricket fans.

In the recent Asia Cup 2023, India and Pakistan met on the cricket field. While their first match was abandoned due to rain, the Men in Blue dominated the second encounter with a resounding 228-run victory, rendering Pakistan ineffective in all aspects of the game.

India showcased an impressive batting performance by amassing a massive total of 356 runs. Subsequently, they dismantled Pakistan’s batting lineup, restricting them to just 128 runs. This has made India slight favorites for the upcoming World Cup clash.

Kamran Akmal pointed out that India’s bowling unit is so strong that even Mohammed Shami doesn’t make it into the starting XI. He also highlighted the regained form of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, which poses a significant threat to any opposition.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Akmal said “Even Mohammed Shami is on the bench, not playing in the XI. That illustrates the strength of their entire bowling unit. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are in great form, and Shubman Gill recently scored a century. It appears to be a formidable batting lineup.

“For the match we have on October 14th, the Pakistan team must prepare meticulously to exert pressure on them. If they approach the game with the same mindset as in the Asia Cup, or the way we have played against them for the past three years, they could face a severe thrashing. Thorough preparation is essential.”
