According to a news sports agency, clarity on KL Rahul’s availability is expected to emerge by the weekend or early next week. The report suggests that KL Rahul might need to participate in a couple of matches before a conclusive decision is made regarding his re-entry into international cricket.
The report also indicates that KL Rahul’s fitness is still not at full capacity, and the National Cricket Academy has not yet granted approval to the BCCI and the selection panel regarding his readiness. However, his situation is expected to improve by the time of the selection panel’s meeting.

The Asia Cup is slated to commence on August 30, with India’s first match scheduled against Pakistan on September 2.
