    India defeated New Zealand by 70 runs in the first Semi-Final of ODI World Cup 2023 on the back of brilliant performances from Mohammed Shami, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill. Daryl Mitchell played an ultimate knock in the chase but could not get his team over the line. The match was filled with boundaries and wickets. It created several records which are listed below.
