The second One-Day International (ODI) match between India and Australia will take place on Sunday, March 19 at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. In the first match, India secured a five-wicket win, giving them a commanding 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series on home turf. The news coming from Australia’s dressing room is that David Warner is still not fully recovered from injury and is expected to remain benched for the 2nd ODI. Australia Captain Steve Smith said that he doesn’t want to risk Warner at any cost.

David Warner was expected to leave Australia tour of India just after the injury occured to him but he decided that he would be fit for the last two ODI’s. If Australia team needs to make comeback to level the series then Carey and Warner are an integral part.

India’s lineup for the second ODI against Australia is expected to see Rohit Sharma return to the team, replacing Ishan Kishan at the top of the batting order. Additionally, the team may opt to bring in either Axar Patel or Washington Sundar instead of Shardul Thakur. Given his current form, Axar Patel is likely to be the preferred choice over Thakur.

The second ODI will take place at the Vishakapatnam Stadium. For all Indian audiences, Star Sports will be telecasting the live match between India and Australia 2nd ODI
