At the same time, according to the reports, BCCI may allow teams to retain a maximum of six players before the mega auction. However, it is not yet clear whether all these players will be directly retained or some players will be retained in the team fixed by the Right to Match card rule. There was no rule of RTM card in the 2022 mega auction, but this time, it may return.
