Naseem Shah, the fast bowler, sustained an injury during the ongoing Lankan Premier League, which has caused concerns for the Pakistan team management before the Afghanistan series and Asia Cup. The latest information indicates that Shah won’t be playing in the upcoming LPL matches but is expected to be fit for the first game against Afghanistan on August 22.
Shah had impressive stats of 10 wickets at an average of 19.40, an economy of 7.32, and a strike rate of 15.90 while playing for the Colombo Strikers. Unfortunately, due to a shoulder injury, he had to sit out the important match on August 15 against Galle Titans at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
