Neil Brand, born on April 12, 1996, is a cricketer from South Africa known for his left-handed batting and left-arm orthodox bowling. He attended King’s College, Taunton, with aspirations of qualifying to represent the England cricket team, but later returned to South Africa by the end of 2017.

Neil Brand, who debuted for Cardiff MCCU against Glamorgan on April 2, 2015, transitioned to List A cricket with Northerns during the 2017–18 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge on March 25, 2018. His participation extended to the Twenty20 format, representing Northerns in the 2018 Africa T20 Cup from September 14, 2018.
Brand continued his cricket journey, being named in Northerns’ squad for the 2018 Africa T20 Cup and later for the 2021–22 season. Notably, in November 2023, he assumed leadership as captain of South Africa A for the West Indies A tour of South Africa, and currently captains the South African Test team for their tour to New Zealand in February 2024.
