Devon Conway has been ruled out of the first half of the upcoming IPL 2024 season due to a thumb injury, joining Mustafizur Rahman, Shivam Dubey, and Daryl Mitchell on the list of injured Chennai Super Kings players ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star all-rounder Shivam Dubey sustained a side strain injury while batting in Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy match against Assam. This injury forced him out of the Ranji Trophy 2024 season. Dubey has enjoyed a remarkable Ranji season, accumulating 407 runs in five matches for Mumbai, including two centuries and two half-centuries. Additionally, he made significant contributions with the ball, claiming 12 wickets with his medium-paced bowling.
As of now, there has been no official update from either the CSK or Mumbai Ranji team management regarding Shivam Dubey’s injury. However, it is likely that he may miss some matches in the first round of the IPL, scheduled to commence on March 22nd.
The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) emerged as the winners of the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL). But can they secure another title and surpass the Mumbai Indians, who also have won five IPL Trophies, to become the most successful IPL franchise?
