It is being told that KKR is considering the name of South African legend Jacques Kallis.
Kallis has been a part of KKR before as well. As a player, he won the IPL title in 2012 and 2014 under Gambhir’s captaincy. At the same time, Kallis has also been the batting consultant of KKR in 2015. Apart from this, he was appointed head coach after Trevor Bayliss resigned to take over as England’s head coach.

Kallis was the head coach of KKR for four Indian Premier League (IPL) seasons till 2019. He resigned from this post before joining the South Africa cricket team as a batting consultant. According to reports, Kallis may return to KKR’s coaching setup, his name is also in the news.
The report said, “The franchise is looking for a replacement for Gambhir, who was instrumental in their third IPL title this year. The name of South African veteran all-rounder Jacques Kallis, who coached KKR in 2019, is also in the news.”
