PAK vs NZ 2nd ODI: Pakistan Cricket gets trolled once again as umpire Aleem Dar halts the game to fix glaring error

Pakistan cricket once again had to face a humiliating situation during PAK vs NZ 2nd ODI.

The second match of the five-match ODI series between Pakistan and New Zealand is being played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. In this match, Pakistan won the toss and decided to field first. But the umpires stopped the match as soon as it started, due to which, Pakistan cricket once again had to face a humiliating situation.

The umpires were not satisfied with the 30-yard circle drawn for the powerplay and called off the match after the first over itself. The umpires called the ground staff and asked them to measure the circle again.

After the match was stopped, chief umpire Aleem Dar measured a distance of 30 yards by walking steps and asked to correct the wrong measurement. Due to which the match was stopped for some time. In fact, this happened because a new pitch was prepared for the second ODI, but the 30-yard circle was left unchanged. When on-field umpire Aleem Dar noticed this blunder, he took immediate action. He decided the size of the circle by measuring from the steps before the second over. In this way, about six minutes of time was wasted in determining the measurement of the circle.

Earlier, Pakistan had won the first match of the five-match ODI series by five wickets, in which Fakhar Zaman scored a century. New Zealand scored 288 runs while batting first with the help of Daryl Mitchell’s 113 and Will Young’s 86 runs. In response, Fakhar Zaman’s century and Imam-ul-Haq’s 60 gave Pakistan the way to victory. Earlier, the five-match T20 series was tied at 2-2.
