The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), departing from its tradition of announcing international series at the last moment, confirmed on Friday that their men’s team will play a comprehensive series against England in the 2024-25 season. This will include nine Tests, 14 ODIs, and nine T20 international matches. Pakistan is set to host England in October this year for a three-match Test series, with tours from Bangladesh and West Indies also on the calendar.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Navi stated, “These series are a crucial part of our strategy to strengthen Pakistan’s position in international cricket.” In a statement, PCB announced that Bangladesh will play two Tests in Rawalpindi (August 21-25) and Karachi (August 30 – September 3), marking the start of the international season which will conclude with the proposed ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final on March 9.
