India and Australia are playing on one of the flattest pitches ever made in India for a Test match. The second session of the first day was a wicketless session, and surprisingly, it was the first session in the entire series to be a wicketless event. At the moment, the batting is looking quite easy on the surface, and the bowlers are lying flat on their backs against the batters.
There is no assistance for either spin or pace. Australia is 149/2 after the second session, and Usman Khawaja and Steve Smith are well set on the crease for big runs. Netizens on Twitter are claiming that BCCI has overcompensated for the pitches of the first three Test matches. Nevertheless, with nothing happening in the game, it has become a dull event.
The way this match is being played it can go on to be a draw. Dinesh Karthik in the commentary box has already mentioned the probability of this match being a draw. Cricketing fans are disappointed with the surface and letting out their frustration on social media.

Baat achi pitches pe wicket lene ki thi jo ki bs ki nhi hai Jadeja, Ashwin or Axar ke .
Bs kuldeep hi ek acha Spinner hai apne pas or hm batting ke naam pe use nhi khilate last 4 years se #kuldeepyadav
The thing is the BCCI don't need to direct the groundsmen to do this, they are good enough to win on surfaces that might play into day four or five. I'd prefer this to Pakistan pitches but something in the middle would be better
