India and Australia are playing the 4th Test match of the Test Series at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The pitch at the stadium is completely flat and has nothing for the spinners and the fast bowlers. It is getting slower and easier to play on. The Indians are struggling to pick any wickets, and the second session has been ruled by Usman Khawaja and Steve Smith.
Australia won the toss and opted to bat first. Travis Head and Usman Khawaja provided a good start before Head was dismissed on 32 by Ashwin. Following this, India hoped to pick a few more quick wickets, but nothing really happened. The only other merry moment that came for India in the Test match so far was when Mohammed Shami bowled out Marnus Labuschagne.

The world’s number one batter went back dejectedly after getting dismissed. He missed out on this pitch which is a great surface for the batters to pile on runs.
