Rassie van der Dussen T20 Franchise Career

On June 3, 2018, van der Dussen was drafted into the Vancouver Knights team for the inaugural Global T20 Canada tournament. He emerged as the tournament’s top run-scorer for the Vancouver Knights, amassing 255 runs in eight matches. Following this success, he was included in the Highveld Lions squad for the 2018–19 season.

In October 2018, van der Dussen joined Jozi Stars for the first edition of the Mzansi Super League T20 tournament. His consistent performances earned him another opportunity with the Vancouver Knights franchise in the 2019 Global T20 Canada tournament. Later, he was selected for the Jozi Stars squad for the 2019 Mzansi Super League.

In December 2019, van der Dussen was chosen by Islamabad United during the supplementary round of the 2020 Pakistan Super League players draft. He continued his global T20 journey by joining the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots squad for the 2020 Caribbean Premier League, although he ultimately missed the tournament along with four other South African cricketers due to travel arrangement issues.
