Growing up idolizing the former Indian captain, Kishan has always dreamed of filling Dhoni’s shoes and making a name for himself on the international cricket stage. “MS Dhoni was my idol, and I really wanted to fill his shoes,” he said. “I will make sure to win matches for my team.”

The young cricketer also revealed that he has an autograph of Dhoni on one of his bats, a cherished memento from the first time they met. “I was 18 years old when I met MS Dhoni for the first time,” Kishan said. “I took his autograph on my bat.”
