The Hong Kong Cricket Sixes is making a comeback after a seven-year hiatus, and Team India is among the 12 participating teams in the tournament. On Saturday, Cricket Hong Kong, China, announced the Indian squad for the upcoming 6-a-side competition.
The 7-member team will be captained by former Indian batsman Robin Uthappa. The squad also includes Bharat Chipli, Kedar Jadhav, Manoj Tiwary, Shahbaz Nadeem, Shreevats Goswami, and Stuart Binny.

Under Uthappa’s leadership, the Indian team aims to harness their collective experience and talent to clinch the title at the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes 2024. With a blend of explosive batting, strategic bowling, and exceptional fielding, they are poised to entertain fans and compete for the championship. India last won the HK Sixes in the 2005 edition.

The 20th edition of the tournament will be held at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground, featuring 12 teams. Other participants include Pakistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, Hong Kong, Nepal, New Zealand, Oman, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The competition has previously showcased legends such as Brian Lara, Wasim Akram, Shane Warne, Sachin Tendulkar, M.S. Dhoni, and Anil Kumble representing their respective teams. England and South Africa are the most successful teams, each with five titles.
