Team India won the T20 World Cup for the first time in the year 2007. Then the command of the team was in the hands of MS Dhoni. The Indian team then beat Pakistan in the final. This time it was South Africa’s turn. When the Indian team captained by MS Dhoni won the World Cup, Rohit Sharma was also a member of that team.

    Dear @ImRo45,

You are excellence personified. Your aggressive mindset, batting and captaincy has given a new dimension to the Indian team. Your T20 career will be remembered fondly. Delighted to have spoken to you earlier today. pic.twitter.com/D5Ue9jHaad

The talent that Rohit Sharma has shown with his bat in this entire T20 World Cup will be remembered for many years to come. Yes, it is another matter that today his bat did not work much in the final against South Africa, but in the semi-final and before that against the Kangaroo team, his bat worked in Hitman style and a lot of runs came from his bat.

After becoming the champion, Virat Kohli also clearly announced that this is not only his last T20 World Cup, but also his last T20 International match. That is, Virat Kohli has now announced his retirement from T20 International.
