Ryan Ten Doeschate, a Netherlands international player and the only one from the nation to play the Indian Premier League will be joining the support of the Kolkata Knight Riders as the fielding coach. He will replace James Foster who has now been promoted to the role of assistant coach.
Ten Doeschate was a prominent figure in the T20 circuit during the 2010s and he was also part of the two-time IPL winning KKR teams of 2012 and 2014. It is also reported that he may be taking on role in the franchise’s team part of the ILT20 or UAE League. ‘TenDo’ as he was called by his teammates, retired from international cricket last year and looks ready to kickstart his coaching tenure.
