Sanju Samson was recently included in the T20 squad against Sri Lanka, but he was not selected in the ODI squad as the selectors went with KL Rahul as the second-choice wicketkeeper. The fans of Sanju Samson criticised the BCCI and the committee that preferred Rahul over Samson in the ODIs. Now, Sanju Samson has again proved his mettle by hitting the most sixes in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2022/23.

Rajasthan Royals’ Twitter account shared a photo of Sanju Samson from the Ranji Trophy and captioned it, “Most sixes in Ranji Trophy 2022/23.”

    Sanju Samson ODI Stats

Sanju Samson has played ten matches so far for India in his ODI career. He has a staggering average of 66 in this format of the game, and his highest score is 86 runs. In 2022, Sanju Samson has been brilliant in ODIs for India. Despite this, he was not given a place in the Indian ODI squad for the Sri Lanka series.

Samson is currently the most underrated batter in ODIs, and his stats can make anyone startle. His achievements in this format of the game are not talked about much, and the BCCI is continuing to ignore him despite his great performances.
