Shikhar Dhawan, the popular Indian cricketer, recently opened up in a candid interview with The Lallantop’s Saurabh Dwivedi. In the conversation, he delved into the fascinating captaincy styles of some of the most iconic leaders of Indian cricket, including MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

Shikhar Dhawan, who made his debut under the leadership of the legendary MS Dhoni in 2010, had interesting insights to share about each of these leaders. He described Dhoni as “very calm and composed”, while Kohli was “aggressive as a captain and played his cricket with a lot of aggression.”

Moreover, he went on to say that “They all are different characters. Virat Kohli’s attitude was visible in his batting. Dhoni was calm under pressure situations. Rohit Sharma is also calm. In challenging situations, your personality comes out.” Dhawan’s observations highlight how each captain brought their own unique style and strengths to the game.
