Shubman Gill, the rising star of Indian cricket has suffered the worst pain imaginable to him right now as he is missing the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 matches for India due to the dengue fever.
Yesterday, BCCI announced that Shubman Gill is hospitalised in a hospital in Chennai due to the low platelet count. He was ruled out of the match against Afghanistan which will be played on 11th October 2023 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
According to the recent reports, Shubman Gill will miss the India vs Pakistan match in ICC ODI World Cup 2023. The match is scheduled to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium on 14th October 2023.

Even if Shubman Gill recovers from dengue before that match, he will not be on his 100 percent as dengue will soak a lot of energy out of his body and it will take him a lot of time to prove his match fitness.
Shubman Gill could even be replaced by someone else in India’s squad if he fails to prove full fitness in the upcoming 5-10 days.
