Ajinkya Rahane had a permanent place in the Indian Test team. However, he was later dropped from the team following his bad form. He was bought by CSK in IPL 2023 Auction at his base price of 50L.
Rahane signed a deal with Leicestershire on Tuesday, January 31. This will be Rahane’s second stint in County after his brief association with Hampshire in 2019.
Rahane will play for Leicestershire in 8 County Championship matches after joining the team in June. He will feature in the entire Royal London One Day Cup, which will be played from August 1 to September 16.
