Tom Kohler Cadmore Career

Tom Kohler-Cadmore emerged through Yorkshire’s age-group system before transitioning to Malvern College for his education, where he earned recognition as the 2014 Young Wisden Schools Cricketer of the Year. Following his time at Malvern, he made his debut for Worcestershire in August 2013 against Bangladesh A.

In May 2016, Kohler-Cadmore etched his name in Worcestershire’s history books by smashing 127 runs off just 54 balls against Durham in the 2016 NatWest t20 Blast, marking the highest individual total for a Worcestershire player in a Twenty20 match.

In June 2017, Yorkshire announced Kohler-Cadmore’s return, leading to the termination of his contract with Worcestershire to facilitate his immediate move. However, in May 2019, he faced scrutiny after being withdrawn from the England Lions’ squad due to his association with a teammate’s rape trial.

Despite the trial’s outcome, Kohler-Cadmore’s involvement in disrespectful conversations prompted the ECB’s decision. Nevertheless, in May 2020, he was named in a 55-man group for training ahead of international fixtures post-COVID-19.

In December 2021, Kohler-Cadmore made history in T10 cricket by smashing the highest individual score of 96 off just 39 balls. He continued to attract attention, securing a spot with the Trent Rockets for The Hundred’s 2022 season.

June 2022 saw Kohler-Cadmore embark on a new chapter, signing a three-year contract with Somerset County Cricket Club, marking a significant move ahead of the 2023 season.
