The power couple, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, recently made a pilgrimage to Rishikesh in search of spiritual blessings ahead of the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia.
At the Swami Dayanand Ashram, they paid their respects at the Samadhi of Swami Dayanand Ji Maharaj. This is not their first spiritual journey, as they previously visited the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram in Uttarakhand in November.
While Virat takes a break from the ongoing T20I series against New Zealand, he’ll return to the field for the highly-anticipated Test series against Australia, starting on February 9th at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur.
Virat’s determination to perform well is evident, after his disappointing run in the ODI series against New Zealand. After a rough outing in the ODI series against the Black Caps, Virat will look to bounce back and get tons of runs against the Aussies.
