Indian cricket stalwart Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma joyously welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Akaay, into the world on 15th February 2024. Confirming the delightful news on 20th February 2024, the couple also shared that their daughter’s name is Vamika.
Amidst speculation during the ongoing India vs England Test Series, Virat Kohli took leave, fueling rumors of Anushka Sharma’s impending delivery. Although initially confirmed by Virat’s friend AB De Villiers, he later retracted his statement, labeling it as a mistake. However, the news was later officially confirmed by Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma themselves.

We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time,” Anushka Sharma posted this on her Instagram handle to confirm the arrival of their baby boy in the world.
The couple has chosen not to share any photos of their newborn son, prioritizing privacy for their children. Virat Kohli is set to rejoin the Indian Team for the 5th Test against England, commencing on 7th March 2024. Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma is set to make a return to the silver screen with her upcoming film “Chakda Express.”
