Virat Kohli might be again appointed as the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for IPL 2025. Faf du Plessis to step down from his role and KL Rahul will take charge as vice-captain.

However, later the captaincy of the ODI team was taken away from Kohli and after this Kohli also left the captaincy of the Test team. In such a situation, now Virat Kohli is not under the pressure of captaincy of Team India and he can be seen captaining RCB once again and KL Rahul can be appointed as his deputy.
