Prithvi Shaw was compared to Sachin Tendulkar
Shaw had made a lot of name in the early days of his career and he also made India win the Under-19 World Cup under his captaincy. Seeing his batting, everyone used to remember Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag because the image of both of them was visible in this player.
Prithvi had scored a century on his Test debut but he has been out of Team India for the last three years. Shaw last played a match for the Indian team in the year 2021 against Sri Lanka and since then he has been out of the team due to poor performance.
Shaw is working hard for his comeback
Apart from his cricket career, Prithvi was also in the news for his personal life and due to which his performance was affected. A police case was filed against him and a girl also accused him of assault. However, leaving all these matters behind, he has moved on and is looking for a way back to Team India. In this episode, Shaw is currently playing in the England Domestic ODI Cup 2024 and is also performing well there. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see whether this player, who is compared to Sachin Tendulkar, is able to make a comeback or not.
Ishan Kishan was considered as Next Dhoni
Team India’s star wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan was considered the next Dhoni and he also proved his talent by scoring a double century in ODI cricket. However, due to a dispute with BCCI, he was out of Team India and now he is not getting a chance to play. Both Kishan and Dhoni have ties with Jharkhand and in such a situation, they were being linked more with Dhoni but they are currently out of the team.
