Virat Kohli, the former captain of the Indian Test cricket team, is all set to be removed from the Test squad if he fails to deliver against the Australian team in the Border Gavaskar Trophy.

In the last three years, Virat Kohli has averaged lower than R Ashwin with the bat. He recently failed to deliver against the Bangladesh cricket team in the Tests.

The run machine has had an average of about 25 runs in Test cricket for the last three years, which is a dismal stats for a player who bats at number 4 for India and has a career average of about 50.

Virat Kohli’s failure in Tests has become a headache for the Indian cricket team. He recently returned to form in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, but his technique against spin bowling is still in question.

In the previous few years, Kohli has looked clueless against the spinners, and Australia has arrived in India with four spinners to exploit the weakness of the Indian cricket team.

This might be the last opportunity for King Kohli to showcase his skills at the highest level.
