Rahul Tripathi played a blazing knock of 44 off 22 with the help of four fours and three daring sixes in the 3rd T20 against New Zealand. He looked fabulous before he mistimed one on the bowling of Ish Sodhi to miss out on his maiden half-century.

Tripathi proved his calibre in the knock that showcased his aggressive abilities. He maximised all the scoring opportunities and allowed Shubman Gill to settle down and wreak havoc in the final few overs.

His inning came at a crucial time and provided India with the impetus to cross the 200-run mark in the game. Tripathi was surely one of the stars for India in the 3rd T20.
