Asked about his viral on-field spat with Virat Kohli during LSG’s match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the ongoing IPL 2023, Afghanistan pacer Naveen Ul Haq of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) said that it’s not his habit to sledge someone upfront.
Naveen-ul-Haq had a hilarious conversation with his Lucknow Super Giants teammate Avesh Khan during which they discussed his altercation with the RCB and India legend.
During the match between LSG and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Lucknow, Naveen and Kohli engaged in a shocking war of words in which he said something to Virat and the former RCB skipper then attacked Naveen.
The incident occurred during the 17th over of LSG’s innings before the duo clashed again after the game ended while everyone was shaking hands.
Kohli and Naveen were both fined for their antics on the field, as was Gautam Gambhir, who was also involved in a heated exchange with Virat.
