On the eve of the first ODI between India and New Zealand, Star batter Suryakumar Yadav is equally excited to be part of the ODI team as well. He was recently picked for the test series against Australia, starting from 9th February. SKY during his interview said how much he loved ODI format as well.

“I have always loved playing this format as well. I’m looking to do well. Nothing changes, intent, and energy remain the same. I try and play situations, whatever situation I’m playing at. Whatever the team demands, I go through the motions. It (getting crowd ovation) is nice, the recognition but you have to remember what you did to get all this, so I try to remain the same.” Suryakumar Yadav during pre-match interview.

Suryakumar Yadav has been India’s best T20I batter in 2022 and is looking forward to performing in ODI as well; the world cup is around the corner. He’s India’s prime batter in T20Is but as ODIs are concerned, Shreyas Iyer has been the backbone of the Indian Cricket Team.
